Data Recovery
If you believe your hard drive is failing or that you've lost data, turn off the drive and contact us at once. The longer a hard drive runs, the more difficult it is to recover data.
Schnitz Technology has an in-lab data recovery cleanroom that is monitored to meet Class 100 standards. In most circumstances where data recovery is possible, we can have your recovered documents back in your hands within 24 hours. In the most extreme cases, we may have to send the drive out to a more sophisticated lab.
We support Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, and removable media. There is a $25 fee to examine the drive. Data recovery typically runs from $100 to $400, examination fee included. The confidentiality of your data is guaranteed.
Above is an example of typical particle levels in our cleanroom environment, as recorded by our particle counter. As you can see, we're well within Class 100 requirements and are aproaching Class 10, at the ≥0.5 µm level.
